Can I upgrade or downgrade anytime?
Yes. Upgrade is prorated and effective immediately. Downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing period. FTC click-to-cancel applies — one-click cancel from your dashboard, no phone call required.
What happens to founder pricing if you raise prices later?
Locked in. If you signed up at $79 and we later raise Starter to $99, you stay at $79 as long as your subscription stays active. Move between tiers and the lock travels with you (you pay the new tier’s founder rate, not the public rate).
Do regulated industries pay more?
No. Regulated Industry mode is included on the Scale tier ($229/mo) at no upcharge for the first 2–3 regulated customers — that’s how we prove the workflow. Future evaluation may add a $200–500/mo securities-specific add-on once the workflow is proven; existing regulated customers stay on their current rate per the founder lock.
Is there a free trial?
Yes for founding members — 14-day free trial on signup, billing starts on day 15. Plus the free AI citation audit at toutmark.com/audit lets you see exactly what we’d work on before you ever pay.
Are there setup or onboarding fees?
There's a one-time $25 onboarding fee on standard plans. It covers the extra setup work we do in your first week to get your site up to standard — schema deployment verification, brand-voice tuning, and the first round of paragraph rewrites. Founding-cohort customers (first 25) have this waived.
What about annual billing?
Annual billing comes with a 10% discount. Set up from billing settings inside your dashboard after signup — not surfaced on the signup form because most founding customers prefer month-to-month for the first 90 days.
Multi-client discounts for agencies?
Per-client billing — flat. Each client site you manage = one Toutmark subscription on whichever tier that client needs. No bulk-discount complexity. The Growth and Scale tiers are sized so a 10-client agency can afford to put each client on whatever tier matches their actual needs.
What’s your refund policy?
First-deliverable satisfaction guarantee. If your first paragraph rewrite, first blog draft, or first schema spec is unsatisfactory and we can't fix it within 7 days, full refund of your first month — but you must email help@toutmark.com describing the problem to qualify. After the first deliverable is accepted, no refunds. Cancel any time and keep service through the end of the current period. Full terms in our Refund Policy.
